There are 12 sequential steps in video production. A-Roll & B-Roll A-Roll is 'your' message and B-Roll is stock footage. A-ROLL should always be step 6 in a full production plan; B-Roll is shot whenever an opportunity arises. The A-Roll plan ensures that the talent and the production team are prepared to produce your message. B-Roll, has more impact if you can inlcude it in the A-Roll plan, and make it A-Roll. Leaving it to chance is not the best option. |
