Early in his career, Matthew worked with management in one of Canada's most successful, national retail companies. Responsible for the planning, execution, and evaluation of a $58 million dollar marketing program that involved more than 1,000 people, he learned the value of integrated, leadership and communications practices. After a hiatus into the world of technology, Matthew assumed various leadership roles with another national retailer, including a new-store set-up team, a corporate flagship store, and 5 regional business consultants. Challenged by the opportunities for improved communications he took on a 5 year role producing conferences, trade shows, training CD's, videos and writing executive speeches. During this time he also assisted in the launch of an intranet communications system, digital catalogue, merchandise planograms, and electronic order processing. In his current role as principle of Clulow & Associates he sources and coordinates a wide range of communications talents for corporate projects. Matthew is Immediate Past President of the Towns of York Toastmasters and a Divisional Governor responsible for 27 Toastmasters Clubs.
